Uklon Store, a marketplace being piloted by the Ukrainian ride-hailing platform Uklon for the purchase and delivery of flowers, is already serving hundreds of customers daily, and the company is assessing the potential for launching other product categories, announced CEO and President of “Kyivstar” Oleksandr Komarov.
“We see significant potential in the delivery business. We believe this area is currently underdeveloped in our portfolio. Therefore, all these steps are aimed specifically at strengthening delivery,” Komarov stated during a presentation of the group’s results for the second quarter of 2026, which was broadcast on YouTube.
According to him, the selection of flowers as the initial category is due to the demand for rapid “here and now” delivery, which allows the company to test the new service.
Simultaneously, the company is exploring which other product categories could be successful in this fast delivery format and ensure sufficient profitability.
However, the President of “Kyivstar” noted that it is too early to discuss the future development of Uklon Store, as the company is only taking its first steps in creating a marketplace integrated into the application.
As previously reported, in June of this year, Uklon, a subsidiary of the largest Ukrainian telecommunications operator JSC “Kyivstar,” launched a beta version of the Uklon Store marketplace with the initial category “Flowers” in the capital city of Kyiv.
Uklon, which was consolidated into “Kyivstar’s” reporting in April 2025, generated 1.448 billion UAH in revenue, or $32.8 million, in the second quarter of 2026. Its EBITDA was 554 million UAH, or $12.5 million. The number of booked rides during this period increased by 4.5% to 43 million, and completed deliveries rose by 25.9% to 1.4 million. The number of monthly active digital users for the company in the second quarter of this year grew by 8.2% to 5.2 million.
